According to Nielsen and comScore Media Metrix, the two global leaders in digital measurement, Coldwell Banker branded websites had the highest number of unique visitors among all national real estate franchise brands for full-year 2011.  This marks the second consecutive year that the Coldwell Banker brand ranked No. 1 in Web traffic among all real estate franchisors.  

“The Coldwell Banker brand is clearly top of mind when consumers go online and search for a home,” said Michael Fischer, chief marketing officer, Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC.  “Consumers know our great brand and have shown a desire to utilize the suite of online tools seen throughout the Coldwell Banker network at the national and local levels.”

According to Nielson, Coldwell Banker websites had 17.5 million unique visitors in 2011, which was more than 28 percent higher than the next nearest franchise brand competitor (13.7 million). Similarly, Coldwell Banker branded websites (26.1 million unique visitors) had the highest Web traffic ranking among real estate franchisors in the comScore Media Metrix full-year ranking for 2011, easily outpacing its next nearest competitor by 21 percent (21.6 million unique visitors).
The Coldwell Banker brand continues to place an emphasis on developing its website into a hub for consumers to find and prepare for the home buying and selling process.  Recent additions include the lifestyle search page and first time home buyer resource center. 

Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC accessed the aforementioned information through its subscription to both Nielson and comScore Media Metrix. The rankings encompass all consumer Web traffic (unique visitors) to national and local websites operated by the franchise brands as well as by their franchisees.

    If you haven’t noticed, the holidays are upon us. In years past, Coldwell Banker has done some unique holiday related advertising. Last year, we created a billboard in Times Square that featured agents and locations with holiday themed names.

    This year we partnered with NBC to not only create a holiday themed TV spot, but also advertise on some of the most notable holiday programs. This week, we launch our holiday themed ad which we call “Crowded House.” Our recent survey of consumers showed that 40% of people have more than 15 people living under one roof during the holiday season! As you’ll see in the video below, we played off that concept in what we think is a relatable TV commercial.

    In addition, this new ad will be running on the marquee holiday programs on NBC including the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and the Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting  as well as other holiday related programs throughout the  upcoming weeks.

    As we reference in an earlier blog post, the holidays bring out a new appreciation for home and it plays a larger role in the memories and the enjoyment of the holiday season. From our home to yours we hope you have a happy holiday season.

    Linwood, November 15, 2011: Coldwell Banker Casa Bella Realtors is proud to announce the Thanksgiving, 2011 Open House Food Drive Weekend supporting the Community Food Bank of NJ, Southern Branch in Egg Harbor Township.  The firm, known for it’s support of local charities like Gilda’s Club and youth sports organizations is placing it’s attention on an important organization this Thanksgiving.  Donations are encouraged during business hours Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 18th, 19th and 20th. at the headquarters at 601 New Road in Linwood.  The collection will commence on Monday morning, November 21st at 10AM, after which the donations will be delivered to the Food Bank.

    “The need is perhaps greater than ever right now and this is too important of an organization to not reach out and help.” –explained Anthony D’Alicandro, Owner of Coldwell Banker Casa Bella Realtors. “I’ve read where the Food Bank Director Margie Barham has been quoted several times recently explaining the situation of increasing need and less available food.  This is serious. This is urgent.”

    In addition to the main office, the entire team at Coldwell Banker Casa Bella is working together to support the event.  Open Houses are being held on Saturday and Sunday at 8 additional locations throughout Atlantic County including Linwood, Egg Harbor Township, Ventnor and Brigantine. Donations can be made at Open House locations during posted Open House hours.

    How do interest rate changes and the amount of the loan affect the monthly payment?
